Common Questions

What is the Pomodoro Technique?
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo. It involves working in 25-minute focused sessions (called "pomodoros") separated by 5-minute breaks. Every 4 pomodoros you take a longer 15-30 minute break.
How accurate is the word counter?
Our word counter splits text on whitespace and punctuation boundaries, matching the counting logic used by Microsoft Word and Google Docs. Character count includes or excludes spaces depending on which metric you select.
What is a good WPM score in the typing speed test?
The average typist types at 40–60 WPM. A professional typist typically achieves 65–75 WPM. Above 80 WPM is considered fast, and above 100 WPM is exceptional. Most data entry jobs require at least 45 WPM.
